I love this monitor, but i recently noticed that Samsung offers Picture in Picture support on their 24" HD LCD monitor.
Why is this feature not offered on the 27 lcd hdtv model?
Could there be a firmware upgrade on the horizon to add this feature? That would make me very happy and i would be forced to give 5 stars across the board :)
I went into the store to purchase another brand but comparing the two, had to purchase this product. It cost more but for the picture quality and features, it's great for the money. Would recommend it to anyone.
My phone, TV's, and other electronics are made by Samsung. So I thought I would add another as I have alway's had good luck with their products. I use this monitor to play high end games (Maxed Out), web browsing and watching TV. It works great. All of the hook-up options on the back should meet most peoples needs. The picture is great. The speakers could be better. I use surround sound external speakers for pc and gaming. However I have to use the monitors speakers when watching TV. While in TV mode, there is an option to select external speaker, but I have yet to figure it out. So it's probably a me thing. Not giving up!!
I would definately reccomend this to a friend. Thanks Samsung, great product!! For those who want larger text, set that up in your pc resolution. Just don't forget to put it back to the default when activating your games
Great little HD set. Fits easliy into kids bedrooms. Fantastic picture.
This monitor performs nicely both as a monitor and as a 27 lcd hdtv. I hooked up some rabbit ears to it and found it works amazingly well. The HD PBS shows are wonderful. The problem that I have with it is the volume when using it in computer mode. It is difficult to get enough volume when I play the video playbacks on line. On the other hand when using it as a TV the volume is fine. I also think it would would be nice if I could mount it on a wall. In all other respects, I think it is excellent.
